NASHVILLE Womens Bryce Love Jersey , Tenn. (AP) — Washington cornerback Josh Norman sat in his locker still in his uniform 45 minutes after the Redskins‘ latest and costliest loss.Norman and the rest of the Redskins left all they had left on the field.Josh Johnson threw for 153 yards and a touchdown in his second straight start as Washington’s fourth different quarterback this season only to be intercepted not once, but twice in the final 1:17 Saturday in a 25-16 loss to the Tennessee Titans. The Redskins (7-8) aren’t mathematically eliminated just yet after their fifth loss in six games. But they need losses at least by Minnesota and Seattle on Sunday to even have a chance in their regular season finale against Philadelphia.Making this loss hurt even more is that the Redskins led for much of the game after Johnson threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Michael Floyd in the second quarter after the second-longest drive in the NFL this season. Washington used up 10 minutes, 58 seconds over 17 plays and 93 yards. Adrian Peterson ran for 119 yards, and Dustin Hopkins kicked field goals of 50, 40 and 46 yards for a 16-12 lead in the fourth quarter. Then the Titans, with their backup quarterback no less, went 75 yards in seven plays. Blaine Gabbert came off the bench when Washington defensive end Jonathan Allen knocked Marcus Mariota out of the game with 48 seconds left in the first half. Gabbert became the first backup to lead the Titans to a victory in the seven games Mariota has left with an injury, throwing a 2-yard TD pass to MyCole Pruitt with 4:30 left. Then Johnson, who led Washington to a fourth-quarter comeback to win in Jacksonville last week, had the ball and a chance for another big win.But Titans cornerback Malcolm Butler pressured Johnson with a blitz, and Titans safety Kevin Byard picked off his pass with 1:17 left. The Redskins forced Tennessee to punt one last time, giving them 14 seconds left down 19-16. Then Butler intercepted Johnson’s final pass, then ran 56 yards to the end zone for the clincher.Washington coach Jay Gruden wasn’t ready when the game ended to sum up the Redskins’ playoff hopes.“I’m just going to watch the games (Sunday) I guess and take a day off, our players will, and figure out what happens next,” Gruden said. The Redskins held the ball for 33 minutes and had three sacks. Yet they hurt themselves with eight penalties for 49 yards, and had a couple more players deal with injuries in a season where the list already had been long enough. This time, guard Zac Kerin hurt a knee but was able to return. Defensive end Matt Ioannidis hurt a hamstring. The frustrations certainly seemed to boil over for Norman after the game.Taylor Lewan, the Titans’ three-time Pro Bowl left tackle, was caught in video by NBC Sports Washington, coming by the Washington bench. Norman threw his helmet at Lewan, slapped at his arm and face mask before bumping up against the left tackle. Titans center Ben Jones got between the men, and Norman slapped at Lewan’s back.Norman did not comment. Lewan said Norman was throwing a “hissy fit” as the left tackle tried to help Henry up after a run.“He was trying to hurt Derrick during that 4-minute, and that’s (expletive),” Lewan said. “That’s not the way football is supposed to be played.”For the Redskins, it’s a loss that could finish off their playoff hopes. Pro Bowl linebacker Ryan Kerrigan, who had a sack, said that doesn’t matter for now.“We have one more game at home to make a splash,” Kerrigan said. “You can’t give up or say it’s over and lay down. I’m going to keep fighting forever, and that’s just how it’s going to be.” So on Christmas Eve as I went for my long winters nap, I had a little dream about my Redskins; and this is how it went...Daniel Snyder https://www.theredskinslockerroom.com/authentic-terry-mclaurin-jersey , under immense public pressure, and seeing his ROI slowly fading away, decided to put the team up for sale. The Joe Gibbs Group, comprised of - yeah, you guessed it, and some other prominent investors (including Joe Theismann), wins the bid to buy the team and Joe becomes majority owner or your very own WASHINGTON REDSKINS!The first announcement Gibbs makes in his opening press conference is that he is changing the name, but keeping the tradition of the team. His reasoning - he wants this to be a team for the people, and no name can ever take away the past accomplishments of this great franchise, but he also wants to be an owner who can just focus on winning football...without all the other distractions. The new team name will be the Washington Warriors, and the colors will remain Burgundy and Gold. There will be some changes to the uniform, including going back to the 70th Anniversary Spear helmet and jersey with the gold pants (the same jersey in white will be worn as an alternate jersey). The next order of business for Gibbs is to relieve Bruce Allen of his duties with the team, and appoint Eric Schaffer as the new team president. After Schaffer is formally announced, Gibbs and his new president begin a search to find a General Manager. The search is long, deliberate and detailed, but finally the brass convince Louis Riddick to take the position, with the understanding that he will hire a new coach, and will have power over all personnel decisions. The day after Riddick’s introductory press conference, all the coaches on the current staff (with the exception of Jim Tomsula) are relieved of their duties. The new staff:Gibbs, Riddick and Schaffer work diligently on finding a new head coach to lead this team into the future. After many interviews, they settle on a guy Riddick is very familiar with - Josh McDaniels. In McDaniels, the Redskins get a disciple of the great Bill Belichick - schooled in his ways of discipline, accountability and perfection on both sides of the football. McDaniels brings Patriots current linebacker coach Brian Flores with him to D.C. to serve as his defensive coordinator/assistant HC. He selects Rams current quarterbacks coach Zac Taylor to be his offensive coordinator. Josh keeps Jim Tomsula as his defensive line coach. Free Agency:The new-look Redskins find out shortly after McDaniels is hired that Alex Smith will be announcing his retirement from professional football. This leaves the Redskins in a tough bind against the salary cap in 2019, but an insurance policy does kick into place in 2020 for $12 million - so at least they have that. To free up some cap space, the Redskins part ways with the following players:Zach Brown: $5.75 millionVernon Davis: $5 millionChris Thompson: $3 millionStacy McGee: $2.3 millionMason Foster: $2 millionTotal Cap Savings:$18.05 million*The Redskins re-structure the contract of Jordan Reed, saving $4 million in 2019.The Redskins should have around $32 +/- million in cap space to spend in free agency. He also posted an explanation, writing, “With all these false narratives antagonizing me, it’s time for me to control my own narrative. Show the world I’m not the bad guy. ALAMEDA Bo Jackson Jersey , Calif. (AP) — Two days after their passing game went flat in the second half of a season-opening loss, the Oakland Raiders have brought back wide receiver Martavis Bryant.Bryant, who was with the Raiders in training camp after being acquired in a trade from Pittsburgh before getting released on the final day of roster cutdowns, signed a one-year contract and rejoined the team for practice Wednesday.Coach Jon Gruden said it’s possible Bryant could play Sunday in Denver.“I think he’s in a good place right now,” Gruden said. “He’s healthy. I think he’s ready to go. I’m sold on that. We’ve been in contact with him since he has been away. As I said when we made the trade to get him, when he’s right he can be a difference-maker. We’re hoping that he can be one sooner than later.”The Raiders need all the help they can get after their offense sputtered and eventually stalled in a 33-13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.Quarterback Derek Carr passed for 303 yards and one touchdown but most of that came in the first half. After halftime, Carr only completed nine throws while wide receivers Jordy Nelson and Amari Cooper were held without a catch. The duo finished with a combined four receptions for 32 yards. The Raiders hope the speedy Bryant can help stretch the field and open things up for the other receivers.“I’m glad he’s back,” Carr said. “With us we can be there for him, help him with whatever he needs, and then he can help us go win football games. We obviously know what kind of talent he is. He can do things that other people just don’t do. That’s not a knock on them. That’s just what God blessed him with, 4.2 speed with that kind of length.”The Raiders traded a third-round pick to the Steelers to get Bryant in the offseason but the 26-year-old spent almost as much time in the trainer’s room as he did on the practice field while complaining of headaches. There was also talk that Bryant could face a possible NFL suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. When Bryant was let go, however, Gruden insisted it was because he had been outplayed by other receivers including Keon Hatcher.Hatcher was waived Wednesday to make room for Bryant.“One of the reasons he was outperformed is he was inconsistently available,” Gruden said. “He was sick, he had lingering problems. But I think he’s in a really good place right now and I’ve seen him in a really good place. When he’s in a really good place he can be a really good player in this league.”Bryant has 126 receptions for 1,917 yards and 17 touchdowns. He missed the entire 2016 season while suspended for a violation of the NFL substance-abuse policy.Cooper, who had one catch for nine yards in the opener and was targeted only three times, welcomed Bryant’s return.“He’s going to really take the top off of defenses so we’re excited abut that,” Cooper said. “He’s a guy who’s really going to help open things up for us.”Notes: The Raiders placed long-snapper Andrew DePaola on injured reserve. LB Shilique Calhoun was waived. Trent Sieg, who spent training camp with Baltimore https://www.raiderslockerroom.com/authentic-antonio-brown-jersey , was signed to replace DePaola. . Defensive tackle P.J. Hall is wearing a walking boot on his left foot. He was injured on the first defensive series against the Rams. Defensive lineman Justin Ellis is nursing a sore foot. As a result, Gruden said the team is discussing possibly signing free agent defensive linemen Clint McDonald and Johnathan Hankins.__ Top-five draft prospect Nick Bosa said he has stopped tweeting political statements in support of the sitting President due to concerns that he’ll “end up in San Francisco.” But could the truth be that he’s far more concerned about whichever locker room he lands in, whether it be the 49ers or any other team? It’s one thing to have digital footprints that support an intensely polarizing political figure. It’s quite another to have a history of comments and related activities that create questions regarding a potential racial bias.Whether he has one or doesn’t isn’t the issue. The issue is whether reasonable minds may differ on whether he does — and whether that in turn will make it harder for him to be accepted by an NFL roster.A Saturday tweet from Jemele Hill, who retweeted a link to an item from Robert Littal’s BlackSportsOnline.com, pulled this much closer analysis of Bosa’s decision to abandon political tweets into mainstream view.“Nick Bosa is weak,” Hill wrote. “If you truly believe in what you stand for, you have no problem defending it. Bosa wasn鈥檛 just worried about how a city would receive him, he was worried about having to explain himself in the lockeroom. He wasn鈥檛 ready for that smoke.”Again, this isn’t about whether Nick Bosa actually has any sort of racial bias. It’s about whether his strategy is less about avoiding problems in San Francisco and more about avoiding problems with future teammates.Bills quarterback Josh Allen was able to overcome potential locker-room issues after being drafted by the Bills in 2018, based on much older tweets that could be more easily attributed to the younger-and-dumber version of himself. former Eagles receiver Riley Cooper, who with the help of Mike Vick (they shared an agent at the time) overcame an ugly incident at a Kenny Chesney concert in Philly, never found footing elsewhere after being released by the Eagles at only 28 years of age. (More than a year later, Cooper got a look-see in Tampa, but wasn’t offered a contract.)In the aftermath of Bosa’s declaration that he has stopped tweeting in support of the President due to concerns that he’ll be drafted by the 49ers, it was fair to wonder why he or any other pro athlete should have to keep that aspect of their lives secret. The issues raised by Hill and Littal make Bosa’s decision less confusing, if he indeed was thinking about how those comments could impact his not-too-distant NFL future, wherever it may play out.

You can sign-up to participate in these fan polls for 2019 at any time. This week, the main questions had to do with how confident are fans in their team right now and whether or not the team did better or worse in free agency. After ending the 2018 season at 28% confidence in the direction of the team, up was really the only way to go. John Elway immediately took action to get the team better by firing Vance Joseph and bringing in Vic Fangio who had built the leagues best defensive unit with the Chicago Bears. Then, Elway made a trade with the Baltimore Ravens to bring in Joe Flacco. Replacing Case Keenum with Flacco is probably going to be a net positive. In free agency. the Broncos picked up Ja’Wuan James at right tackle, Kareem Jackson at cornerback, and Fangio’s former player in Chicago, slot cornerback Bryce Callahan. They also re-signed a few other players Courtland Sutton Jersey White , but the free agent class looks to be a good one.All of these moves so far has pushed Broncos fan confidence to 69%, with 95% thinking the team got better through free agency. Washington coach Jay Gruden has yet to name a Week One starting quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jersey White , and he feels no compulsion to do so in the immediate future.“There’s no rush to name a starter right now,” Gruden told reporters on Tuesday. “I think it’s important to let these guys go out and play and continue to compete. We’ll continue to let them play and see what happens Thursday.”Washington plays the Falcons in Atlanta on Thursday night. With Colt McCoy, who continues to be listed as the No. 1 quarterback on the unofficial depth chart, still recovering from last year’s broken leg, it’s down to veteran Case Keenum and rookie Dwayne Haskins, with all indications being that Keenum will get the nod — especially with the first three games that count against the Eagles, Cowboys, and Bears.Regardless of who it is, the rush is coming soon. The first game is only 19 days away. Sunday afternoon’s home game against the Atlanta Falcons turned out to be a blowout in epic fashion. The Redskins’ heralded defense sat back and watched as the Falcons’ running backs gashed them, averaging 6.4 yards per carry, and saw Matt Ryan complete 26 of his 38 passing attempts for 350 yards and four touchdowns. It’s certainly not the end of the world as the Skins sit at 5-3 halfway through their season, but it does show serious vulnerability against strong offensive teams. Below are my Studs and Duds of the game. Studs:Maurice Harris - Harris set career highs in receptions in a game with 10, and receiving yards with 124. Some of these may have come at garbage time, but the crafty slot receiver showed he can get open and make tough catches with defenders near by.Matt Ioannidis - Ioannidis tied for the team lead in tackles with 7 and registered yet another sack and multiple quarterback hits on the day. He was the only front seven player who showed up. Tress Way - Way continued his excellent punting on the season, averaging 49 yards per boot and had four that were downed inside the 20 yard line. Duds:Geron Christian - I don’t think it’s humanly possible for an offensive linemen to play any worse than Christian played Sunday afternoon. It was a complete embarrassment. He doesn’t even look like he belongs in the Arena League at this point. His performance is right up there with King Dunlop’s on Monday Night Football many years ago. Daron Payne - Payne was almost invisible Sunday afternoon. I don’t know if it was the Falcons game plan, or just poor play in general, but the rookie made absolutely no impact on the afternoon. Am I being too hard on him... maybe, but I’ve grown to expect more. Mason Foster/Zach Brown - The linebacking duo, who has played exceptionally well against the run over the past five weeks, was absolutely gashed by the Falcons Sunday. They could not get off blocks, get their correct reads or pursue the ball carrier in any capacity. They were a non-factor in the passing game. Embarrassingly horrible performance by these two. The Redskins Secondary - I’m going to give two passes here Womens Bryce Love Jersey , as HaHa Clinton-Dix had less than a week in our system after getting traded from Green Bay at the deadline. I also though Dunbar played pretty well, and we all know he was not 100 percent. Aside from these two, the secondary was absolutely atrocious. They allowed 350 passing yards and five touchdowns to Matt Ryan. Fabian Moreau was particularly bad in the slot. The Redskins Coaching Staff - Say what you want, but this isn’t all on Jay Gruden. Manusky’s defense got absolutely abused by Matt Ryan and the Falcons, and couldn’t shut down a U12 Pop Warner team on the afternoon. The secondary was horrible, the linebackers were horrible, and Tomsula’s defensive line was horrible. I almost want to give Callahan’s group a pass because you can’t account for injuries, but aside from those, the blocking up front was just bad, and the penalties were inexcusable. The Redskins Front Office - This one comes down to the decision to re-sign Shawn Lauvao after KNOWING he has a history of injuries. Now, yet again, we are left with no plan at left guard after yet another Lauvao injury (his second of the season). Enough is enough already! I feel bad Lauvao got injured, but to even attempt to rely on him for the season was a MASSIVE mistake! The Refs - If you are going to call penalties, at least call them both ways!I counted at least three picks that SHOULD have been called on the Falcons in the passing game. I guess only one team held on the afternoon... This crew was a complete joke all afternoon (except when the penalty involved Geron Christian). Notes: - I loved the long run Alex had when he escaped the sack and scampered down the right sideline...but protect yourself and GET OUT OF BOUNDS! - Josh Doctson had two BAD drops early on, but came back to atone for his mistakes by making some outstanding catches in traffic, including a nice touchdown. The drops, however, have plagued him throughout his young career. he’ll need to eliminate these simple mistakes.- I love the way Morgan Moses fights through being banged up, but he was very inconsistent even before he got rolled up on.- There is a significant drop-off in talent when Tony Bergstrom is in the game.

The Steelers signed two more members of their 2019 draft class on Wednesday Womens Jerome Bettis Jersey ,"Following on from the signing of fellow rookies Sutton Smith and Isaiah Buggs on Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers inked two more members of their 2019 draft class to contracts on Wednesday, officially announcing four-year deals with wide receiver Diontae Johnson and running back Benny Snell Jr. via social media. And while the terms of their deals have yet to be reveled, it should be expected that the numbers will closely match the figures projected by OverTheCap.com ahead of the draft. A deal that would pay Johnson close to $3.65 million over the length of the contract and include a signing bonus worth in the region of $1.1 million. While Snell is projected to receive a deal worth just over $3.2 million and is expected to see a signing bonus worth around $700 Jerome Bettis Jersey ,000.With the possible exception of Devin Bush, it should be expected that the remaining rookie names yet to be signed will comes to terms with the Steelers in the coming few days, given the pace they appear to be working at. And with rookie minicamp set to begin on Friday, it seems likely that most of the draft class will be under contract by then or soon after.Perhaps the only complication that Pittsburgh will face will come from the contract of Bush James Conner Jersey , a deal that could require some negotiations over the guaranteed portions of the contract and some of the offset language the Steelers may want to include. Taking a look at what we might see from running back Josh Jacobs in 2019"The Raiders swiped up running back Josh Jacobs with the 24th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Considered an early selection by some, it is easy to see why the Raiders were high on the Alabama running back. Drafted for his traits and not necessarily his production, projections for Jacobs are hard to make as his numbers from college don’t paint the full picture.A perennial ‘back-up’ in the Crimson Tide’s system, Jacobs spent most of his three years sharing snaps with stars like Damien Harris, Bo Scarbrough, and Najee Harris. Despite seeing limited work, the numbers Jacob put up do hint at some trends that should continue as he joins the Raiders. Let’s take a look at both facets of his game and try to predict what he will do in his first year with the Silver and Black.RushingJacobs will come in and instantly be the Raiders best running back, as he should being a first round draft pick. Doug Martin and Jalen Richard will push him for carries, but the expectation is that Jacobs will be the three-down back in 2019.With elite vision and physicality, Jacobs is a perfect fit to replace Marshawn Lynch in the Raiders backfield. With a behemoth offensive line in front of him, Jacobs should have plenty of gaping holes to run through (assuming Tom Cable doesn’t completely ruin the unit). The right side of the offensive line in particular should be a huge strength in the running game. With Trent Brown and Gabe Jackson mauling defenders, expect Jacobs to churn out a lot of big plays. If Brown and Jackson can get him to the second level, Jacobs is more than capable of making a defender or two miss to pick up chunk yardage. Jacobs never accrued 1 Antonio Brown Jersey White ,000 yards in a season while at Alabama, but there is no reason why he can’t at the professional level with more opportunities. Tallies of 567, 284, and 640 yards in his freshman through junior years don’t jump off the page, but with carry totals of 85, 46, and 120 respectively (6.67, 6.17 and 5.33 YPC in those three years) it makes a little more sense why Jacobs never hit the 1,000 yard milestone. In his junior season, Jacobs had a knack for finding the endzone, tallying 11 rushing touchdowns in 2018. Due to his physicality and vision, he was utilized a lot in goal line situations and made defenses pay by lowering his shoulder and plowing in for the touchdown. With Lynch no longer in Oakland, Jacobs will likely fill in that same role for the Silver and Black.Facing less competition for carries and running behind a monster of an offensive line, it is not out of the question for Jacobs to put up big rushing numbers Bo Jackson Jersey White , but it is unlikely that he will reach the elusive 1,000 yard mark.Prediction: 750-850 yards, 8 touchdownsReceivingAside from his vision and patience, Jacobs’ best trait is hands, making him a dual-threat out of the backfield. While at Alabama Jacobs proved to be a consistent pass catcher, tallying reception totals of 14, 14, and 20 in his freshman through junior seasons. In those seasons respectively, Jacobs recorded 156, 168, and 247 yards, a nice bonus to his rushing totals. His versatility will be valued and leaned on heavily, but Jalen Richard will surely push Jacobs for a role in the passing game as Richard recorded 68 receptions for 607 yards last season.Possessing pass-catching ability means the Raiders can mix up their looks on early downs and try to catch defenses on mismatches with Jacobs being matched up with slower linebackers.Don’t expect Richard like numbers for Jacobs, but he will definitely put up a respectable amount of receiving yards in 2019. He projects to add a score or two as well after tallying five receiving touchdowns in his final two seasons at Alabama. Prediction: 150-250 yards https://www.raiderslockerroom.com/authentic-derek-carr-jersey , 2 touchdownsAll in all, Jacobs projects to be productive in the Raiders system. With a huge line in front of him and a coach committed to running the ball, Jacobs will get plenty of good opportunities on the ground. In addition, his ability in the passing game opens up plenty more opportunities for Jacobs to make an impact. Adding in a solid total in the air, Jacobs will likely reach or surpass the 1,000 yard mark in all-purpose yardage. In 2018 he had 14 kick returns for 428 yards and one touchdown, finishing fourth in the SEC. He won’t usurp Dwayne Harris, but he may see some action in the return game. He won’t blow the league away like Saquon Barkley did last season, but Jacobs will be a solid play-maker for the Raiders this year.

After word broke that the Broncos and Ravens agreed to a trade that will send quarterback Joe Flacco to Denver when the new league year opens on March 13 Womens Bryce Love Jersey , there was word that Washington was also interested in a potential move for the veteran. The team is in the market for a quarterback to go with Colt McCoy while Alex Smith is out of action, but team president Bruce Allen said that Flacco was never in the conversation.“We were never involved in Flacco,” Allen said, via the . “We were looking at free agency, I don’t think it’s any secret there’s players being offered in trades from other teams. We’ve listened to that. We feel good where we’re at. I can’t tell you who is exactly going to back up Colt if Alex can’t go, but we have some time.”While Allen refers to McCoy as the starter, head coach Jay Gruden didn’t say that was a sure thing in his own comments from Indianapolis last week and the door is open to using the team’s first-round pick on a quarterback. Given Smith’s $20.4 million cap hit, the draft route (or acquiring a player drafted recently) might be the most cost-effective route for the team to go regardless of whether they are actually all in on opening the season with McCoy under center. Josh Allen, OLB School: Kentucky | Conference: SEC Experience: Senior | Age: 21Height / Weight: 6-5 / 252 lbsProjected Draft Status: Top-10NFL Comparison: Leonard Floyd College StatisticsAdditionally, here are some advanced stats, courtesy of Pro Football Focus:PFF’s end of regular season stats - “The highest-graded edge defender in the country, Allen got home with a pressure on 23.4% of his pass-rush snaps this season. Highlighted by his national-best 93.5 pass-rush grade, Allen brought in 51 total pressures that included 14 sacks, nine QB hits and an additional 28 hurries. He dropped back in coverage on 141 snaps and allowed just 130 yards on 19 targets without allowing a touchdown, and made 51 total defensive stops with missed just four tackles out of 69 attempts.”Player OverviewA lightly recruited, two-start HS prospect, who chose Kentucky over Buffalo and Monmouth University, Allen finished his career as the University of Kentucky’s record holder with 31.5 (career) sacks and 17 (single-season) sacks. As a senior, Allen was named the SEC’s Defensive Player of the Year, while also taking home the Lott IMPACT Trophy, the Bronko Nagurski Award, and the Chuck Bednarik Award. There was some question as to if Josh Allen would even play in the Citrus Bowl against Penn State, but not only did he play, he closed out his Wildcats’ career with an MVP performance, recording three sacks and a blocked field goal attempt. Here are just some of his highlights from the Citrus Bowl. Allen struggled with stuttering and school work until formally diagnosed with ADHD in college. Three of his sisters played basketball in college, including Myisha Hines-Allen, who currently is a rookie forward for the WNBA’s Washington Mystics. For more on his back-story, read NFL.com’s How Kentucky’s Josh Allen became NFL draft’s fastest-rising prospect.Athletic Traits (Pre-Combine)A first team all-state WR in high school, Allen arrived much more lanky than his listed weight. Listed at 230 pounds as a junior, he apparently is now carries 252 pounds on his 6-foot-5 frame. He appears to have long arms, and will likely “check all the boxes” with his workouts at the NFL Combine, but it will be interesting to see if he really measures as an elite athlete for the position. Athletically speaking, I don’t think he is quite at the level of former Kentucky OLB/DE Bud Dupree. I see similarities to Anthony Barr, who played on the edge at UCLA before transitioning to more of a traditional LB in the NFL. More Film Against South Carolina, Allen had three sacks, four TFL’s and numerous other pressures. The first sack was on a backside pursuit, and he almost got a safety. On the second, he was unblocked stunting inside. For the third, he third he beat the left tackle with speed and got the strip sack with one minute left in the game. Georgia had success running right at his side of the line (Georgia ended the night with 331 yards rushing).Allen had his way with Florida’s Martez Ivey, but against Jawaan Taylor, not so much. Here are a pair of film sessions. The first by PFF:The second, by Voch Lombardi:See more of Allen’s work HERE.StrengthsProductive pass rusher https://www.theredskinslockerroom.com/authentic-terry-mclaurin-jersey , who improved each season.Likes to go for strip sack, and finished with an NCAA best five forced fumbles.Competent in coverage with the lateral agility required of an modern NFL LB. Prototypical height/weight/length for the position. Can beat opponents with speed rush, and with hand usage. WeaknessesAt times, Allen doesn’t play to his size, and still appears to be too finesse.Wasn’t always able to get the QB to the ground (especially Nick Fitzgerald). Can get washed out against the run, including by Tight Ends (Georgia, Vanderbilt).Occasionally plays too tall, and needs to get lower when bending the edge. Needs to more quickly identify and disengage from blocks.Doesn’t always have a counter, if initial move fails (stonewalled by Gators RT Jawaan Taylor). He has the athleticism, but will he be able to hang with backs and tight ends that have nuance to their routes? What Others Are Saying Kentucky linebacker’s coach, Brad White - “From a run-game standpoint, he’s gotten really strong with his hands. He’d always been a good pass rusher and could always win with speed. Now he can win with the added weight and strength. He didn’t necessarily do that in the past. Now he can control tight ends and tackles. He can control his primary gap, tear off the blocker, then go make a play in another gap.”Senior Bowl executive director, Jim Nagy called Allen one of the most improved players in the nation. ”The knock on him was that he played with too much finesse. He would jump around blocks and played like a bulk-deficient player,” Nagy said. “Now he’s a different guy.”Draft Analyst, Tony Pauline wrote “Allen has the measurables and computer numbers NFL teams desire in a front-seven player and has shown a great deal of development in his game. He’s a forceful linebacker with the ability to get pressure up the field and rush the quarterback. But Allen is much more than a one-dimensional defender. He’s also a solid run defender who can make plays at the line of scrimmage or in pursuit, and his ball skills on passing downs are improving.”This week, NFL.com’sLance Zierlein had the Cardinals taking Josh Allen number one overall. ESPN’s Mel Kiper ranked Allen as his No. 2 player overall in his most recent mock draft. Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller has compared Allen to Arizona Cardinals DE Chandler Jones. How He Would Fit On The Redskins The Redskins have some decisions to make at outside linebacker.Preston Smith is a free agent,Ryan Kerrigan is aging, and Ryan Anderson has not yet proven to be either players long-term replacement. Allen would have been one of the most highly regarded prospects attending the Senior Bowl, but he pulled out last second. Other than at quarterback, it is rare for probably first round prospects to participate in the Senior Bowl. If he tests out as an elite athlete at the NFL Combine, he could end up a Top 10 Pick, and be off the board by the time the Redskins are on the clock. Personally, I don’t view him as a slam dunk top-10 pick.Unlike many 3-4 OLB prospects who were undersized DE’s in college, and face a major transition to LB in the pros,. Allen would provide the Redskins with an outside backer, with the skill set to rush the passer, defend the run, and drop into coverage. Some have argued that Kentucky did not use him enough as a pass-rusher, but it is his experience and comfort level in coverage that distinguish him from other edge rushers in this draft class. In terms of usage in college, potential draft position, and possible NFL role, I compare him to a player like Leonard Floyd.Floyd displayed similar versatility while at Georgia, but has yet to, and may never develop into a dominating pass-rusher in the NFL.Like Floyd, I see Allen as a multifaceted 3-4 OLB, who can be a piece of a team’s pass-rush plan, but may never put up the pass-rushing number of guys like Von Miller or Khalil Mack.

Sean McVay elected to try and fake the punt, but the pass was intercepted by Trey Edmunds, giving Pittsburgh prime position to add to their lead. But a holding call and another dropped pass resulted in another Jordan Berry punt.Goff and company moved the ball into Pittsburgh territory with relative ease, but once in the red-zone things tightened up and the Pittsburgh defense forced a field goal attempt. Pavely-USA TODAY SportsWhile many NFL football fans cling to those immediate draft grades and consider their contents gospel, it seems rather ridiculous when these ‘experts’ grade a selection who has yet to step foot onto an NFL field. With that said, it doesn’t seem as ridiculous to go back and look at the 2016 NFL Draft to see just how these players, who are nearing the end of their rookie contracts, have done throughout their first few seasons in the NFL.Dane Brugler of The Athletic, decided to go back and not only grade the classes, but give the best player T. J. Watt Jersey , best value, etc. According to Brugler:So, what did he think about the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 2016 NFL Draft class? Let’s take a look!Pittsburgh SteelersGrade: C1 (25) Artie Burns, CB, Miami (Fla.)2 (58) Sean Davis, SS, Maryland3 (89) Javon Hargrave, DT Jerome Bettis Jersey White , South Carolina State4 (123) Jerald Hawkins, OT, LSU6 (220) Travis Feeney, LB, Washington (Free Agent)7 (229) Demarcus Ayers, WR, Houston (Free Agent)7 (246) Tyler Matakevich, LB James Conner Jersey White , TempleBest player: Javon HargraveA two-time Defensive Player of the Year in the MEAC, Hargrave had a strong pre-draft process, catapulting him into the top-100 conversation. That positive momentum carried over to his NFL career where he has been a three-year starter and important piece of the Pittsburgh front.Best value: Tyler MatakevichSpecial teams might not be sexy but it keeps some players on NFL rosters, and Matakevich is a prime example. Over the past three seasons, his 29 tackles on special teams rank second-best in the NFL. Considering his impact, Hargrave is arguably the better value, but let’s give some love to the special teamers.Biggest miss: Artie BurnsThe Steelers were reportedly set to draft William Jackson at No. 25 before the Bengals pulled the rug out from underneath them and drafted the former Houston corner at No. 24. Desperate for cornerback help, Pittsburgh drafted Burns Womens Jerome Bettis Jersey , who has shown flashes of first-round talent but very little consistency, taking a step back in Year 3 last season. It is difficult to disagree with the above assessment of the team’s 2016 draft class, but Brugler went a step further and spoke to Steelers’ beat writer for The Athletic, Mark Kaboly, to get his insider view on the draft class. Has this class been a total disappointment? Hargrave is coming off a season where he had 6.5 sacks in a part-time role, but at a time when fans thought they had three starting defenders in the first three rounds of the draft, this class certainly lacks the luster fans expected immediately after the draft process concluded. What do you think of the 2016 class? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!

(With the exception of Azeem Victor who was cut.)That stat could have something to do with the teams struggles but it’s very possible that some of the additions from the 2019 class will be counted on heavily. The three obvious names expected to step right in and start are the team’s three first round picks.Clelin Ferrell, Josh Jacobs Derek Carr Jersey White , and Johnathan Abram who were all first round picks should have little trouble finding a role in the starting lineup come September.Clelin FerrellThe number four overall pick will lead a revamped group of defensive ends that includes Benson Mayowa, Josh Mauro, Arden Key, and fellow rookies Maxx Crosby and Quinten Bell.Ferrell fits the mold of what Guenther looks for in his defensive ends.He has the ability to set the edge and rush the passer. The addition of Ferrell could push second year end, Arden Key into more of a situational pass rusher role which was the originally plan last season.Josh JacobsWith the retirement of Marshawn Lynch and injury to Isaiah Crowell, Josh Jacobs has a clear path to the starting job at running back.Doug Martin was recently brought back and he did look good in relief of Lynch last year but the job is Jacobs to lose.Jacobs may not have the break away speed you look for in an elite running back but he checks off every other box.Johnathan AbramThe third and final first round pick from the 2019 class, Abram is a hard hitting, tone-setter that the Raiders thought they were getting in Karl Joseph. And while Joseph has shown glimpses of being that guy, Abrams should challenge Joseph for the starting job alongside LaMarcus Joyner at safety.Depending on quickly Abram picks up the scheme could determine who wins the starting job. It’s also very likely both Abrams and Joseph are essentially starters with Joyner in the nickel do to the high volume of passing. Foster MoreauRight now he is probably listed at the bottom of the depth chart but I think that will change. When you look at the names ahead of him there is no sure bet.Jon Gruden spoke recently about giving Darren Waller an opportunity of a lifetime and while he is intriguing from a measurable standpoint, he has made only four career starts.Luke Wilson is a younger Lee Smith, Derek Carrier doesn’t have the blocking ability of Moreau, and Paul Butler looks like he has put in some serious hours in the weight room from a recent photo but are we really thinking he could start?Moreau may not possess Waller’s speed and athleticism but as Mike Mayock said, “we think he is a bit better athletically than most people think.” Also important to note that even with Jared Cook appearing in every game last season and starting 14, Lee Smith started four games as a blocking tight end, so Moreau could as well.Hunter RenfrowRenfrow just seems like the perfect Jon Gruden player.who has a knack for making plays.Slot receiver is one to keep an eye on throughout the summer with Ryan Grant and JJ Nelson looking to hold off the young Clemson product. If I was a betting man I would put my money on at least three starters from the 2019 class with as many as six.

The Broncos defense did not force a turnover in the first four weeks of the regular season, but they finally came through in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Chargers.Safety Justin Simmons stepped in front of a Philip Rivers pass that sailed away from its intended receiver and the Broncos finally had their first takeaway of the season. That was one of several positives for the Broncos during the first half and they lead their AFC West rivals 17-0 at the break as a result of their efforts.Denver opened the game by chipping their way down the field with Phillip Lindsay on a 75-yard touchdown drive and then saw Courtland Sutton break tackles on his way to a 70-yard score. quarter and the biggest blemish of the half was a fumble by Joe Flacco on a sack by Uchenna Nwosu.Lindsay and Royce Freeman have combined for 67 yards on 12 carries while Chargers running back Melvin Gordon has seven carries for 18 yards in his first game action since ending his holdout ahead of Week Four. Austin Ekeler has seven catches, so the Chargers have found use for both of their backs thus far.None of it has been productive enough, however, and Ekeler fumbled the ball out of the end zone while trying to score on fourth down on the final play of the half. That leaves the Broncos with a 17-point lead to defend after blowing a 14-point edge last weekend.

But will this group live up to the hype?Mississippi State DT Jeffery Simmons: NFL draft prospectWithout the high school incident, he could have pushed Alabama’s Quinnen Williams and Houston’s Ed Oliver for the top interior player drafted as one of the first players off the board. ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — The Washington Redskins have lost four in a row, are down to their fourth quarterback and are mired in criticism from several players.A once-promising season has gone off the rails thanks to injuries on the offense and blown assignments and missed tackles on defense. The finger-pointing is well underway on a team that has fallen to 6-7 and there is plenty of blame to go around.Defensive backs Josh Norman and D.J. Swearinger were outspoken after the latest loss, linebacker Mason Foster vented his frustration in a private social media message that came to light and it’s becoming clear there’s a disconnect between players and coaches. While the 2017 season could be written off for injuries, everyone from team President Bruce Allen to coach Jay Gruden and defensive coordinator Greg Manusky could be in danger of losing his job.“If anyone’s going to have to take the fall, it’s going to have to be all of us — everyone in this building,” tight end Vernon Davis said Wednesday. “Everyone is just going to have to take accountability for it.”Gruden said his “job is in jeopardy every week https://www.theredskinslockerroom.com/authentic-terry-mclaurin-jersey ,” so his focus is getting the team ready to face Jacksonville on Sunday. He and some players were quick to point out Washington is only a half-game out of a playoff spot, so the season is far from over. That itself is remarkable. The Redskins’ defense that ranked first in the NFL early in the season is now 20th, Alex Smith and Colt McCoy each suffered broken right legs and quarterback Josh Johnson is making his first start since 2011. Injuries have again played a role in this freefall, which points to personnel decisions made Allen, Gruden, senior vice president of player personnel Doug Williams and the rest of the front office. And even though he got an extension through 2020, Gruden is the eighth coach to work under owner Dan Snyder and is on the hot seat after just one playoff appearance in his first four seasons.“Sometimes it’s hard not to think about it because of course you’re going to get asked about it,” said running back Chris Thompson, who expressed his support for Gruden and the rest of the coaching staff. “I really don’t want to think about that too much. We got three more games to go and at this point anything could happen and then the decisions that are made upstairs, we can’t really control that stuff.”The Redskins can control their practice habits, an area Swearinger has been critical of the past two seasons. He has raised questions about the team’s lack of preparation, a problem that has bubbled up and caused inconsistency.“I can’t tell you what needs to be changed. I ain’t the coach,” Swearinger said after a 40-16 loss to the Giants on Sunday. “We ain’t executing. We ain’t getting the job done. That’s the answer they want me to give.”Norman said he wasn’t going to blame the injury-ravaged offense or make excuses for the four-game skid. And it’s impossible to pinpoint one source of all the losing.“There’s a lot of things when you’re talking about losing a football game,” Gruden said. “If we had it narrowed down to one thing, we’d fix it and be OK. Sometimes it’s defense, sometimes it’s offense, sometimes it’s special teams, sometimes it’s coaching. It’s a combination. So it’s a matter of all of us having to step up in some key players’ absences and playing better and we haven’t done that.”Foster cursing the team and its fan base in a private message on Instagram was just the latest development in a quickly unraveling season. Gruden and Foster’s teammates brushed it off, citing the veteran’s contributions on the field. the job done.“I know for me personally the wear and tear and the grind of the season, mentally you start to just lose a little bit of focus and it’s natural,” defensive lineman Jonathan Allen said. “It’s a long season, so naturally you’re going to fall off in certain areas, and that’s the goal to not fall off.”Beating the Jaguars and getting help around the league could put the Redskins in position to still challenge for a playoff spot. In the midst of all the frustration, veteran running back Adrian Peterson wants everyone to realize the season isn’t over.“We’re only half a game out,” Peterson said. “When they show the playoff picture on ESPN, we’re there.”NOTES: TE Jordan Reed (right foot/ankle), WR Josh Doctson (concussion protocol) and DL Matt Ioannidis (shin) were among the players who didn’t practice Wednesday. … Gruden shortened practice to under 90 minutes amid his team’s injuries.

NEW YORK (AP)The NFL Players Association filed a grievance with the league on Tuesday challenging its national anthem policy. The union says that the new policy Antonio Brown Jersey White , which the league imposed without consultation with the NFLPA, is inconsistent with the collective bargaining agreement and infringes on players’ rights. The filing met a statute of limitations deadline and will be heard by an independent arbitrator, an NFLPA spokesman said.In May, the NFL approved its national anthem policy at its owners meetings in Atlanta. The policy allows players to protest during the national anthem by staying in the locker room, but forbids them from sitting or taking a knee if they’re on the field or the sidelines.Teams will be subject to fines if players don’t comply and will have the option of punishing players. When the league announced the policy, Commissioner Roger Goodell called it a compromise aimed at putting the focus back on football after a tumultuous year in which television ratings dipped nearly 10 percent; some blamed the protests for such a drop. The union said at that time that it would file a grievance against any change in the collective bargaining agreement. The union said Tuesday it has proposed having its executive committee talking to the NFL instead of proceeding with litigation. The union said the NFL has agreed to those discussions. The NFL declined to comment about the union’s action. In 2016, then-49ers quarterback, Colin Kaepernick began protesting police brutality and social injustice by kneeling during the national anthem, and the demonstration spread to other players and teams. It became one of the most controversial and sensitive issues in the NFL, with players saying their messages last year were being misconstrued, while others – including President Donald Trump – called them unpatriotic. Trump even said NFL owners should fire any player who refused to stand during the anthem.Following those comments, more than 200 players protested during the anthem that weekend before the number of protesters dwindled as the season progressed.”We’re here for a bigger platform,” Raiders tight end Jared Cook said during the spring. ”We’re not just athletes. We’re people that live this. It’s people in our neighborhood, it’s people that we grew up with, it’s people that we know who are actually living through these circumstances. So when we speak on it Bo Jackson Jersey White , it’s not like we’re just speaking out of the side of our neck. It’s things that actually touch home and things that we can actually relate to.”All I have to say is, I just think it’s sad that it’s veered from something that stood for good and the whole narrative has changed into something that’s negative when that was not what it was initially about in the first place.”The NFL started requiring players to be on the field for the anthem in 2009 – the year it signed a marketing deal with the military.”We want people to be respectful of the national anthem. We want people to stand,” Goodell said at the May meetings, when he dismissed concerns about the lack of union involvement by contending the league met with countless players over the past year.”We’ve been very sensitive on making sure that we give players choices,” the commissioner added, ”but we do believe that moment is an important moment and one that we are going to focus on.”The league and the Players Coalition have been working in tandem on efforts to support player initiatives in the community and for a variety of social issues. The NFL is committing $90 million over the next seven years to social justice causes in a three-segment plan that involves league players.— Two of the Raiders nine rookie draft picks were at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena for the annual NFLPA Rookie Premiere. While trying to work out a new contract with the Broncos earlier this year, cornerback Chris Harris expressed interest in a trade if the Broncos weren’t willing to meet his financial demands. The two sides eventually came together on a revised deal for this season that left Harris on track to become a free agent after this season. He said he’s happy with how things worked out and said on NFL Network Wednesday that it’s “a relief” to be able to focus on football after all of the contract talk. a dim outlook for the Broncos in the AFC West thanks to the presence of the Chiefs and Chargers. Harris acknowledged the Broncos aren’t the favorites, but said that works just fine for him because they’ll be able to take some teams by surprise.“The Chiefs are the team to beat right now,” Harris said. “They’ve won it, I think, the past three years so until somebody knocks them off they’re the team beat. I’m telling you right now, I like being the underdog right now. Teams are sleeping on us and so I like taking that approach this year. They’re going to have to wake up when we hit them in the mouth.”With the likes of Harris, Von Miller and Bradley Chubb on hand, the defense should be able to throw some haymakers this season. The chances of the Broncos overcoming expectations may come down to whether the offense can do the same.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Le’Veon Bell might be ready to head back to work. The Pittsburgh Steelers don’t exactly look like they need him.The star running back tweeted “Farewell Miami” on Monday Terrell Edmunds Jersey White , possibly indicating the end of his months-long standoff with the club. Bell hasn’t been inside the Pittsburgh locker room since last January, opting to stay away rather than sign his one-year franchise tender. The two-time All-Pro has sacrificed half of the $14.4 million he’s due this season but needs to report by Nov. 13 to make sure he accrues enough service time to reach free agency in March.Bell’s extended absence initially created a furor inside the locker room. Now, it seems almost like an afterthought. The Steelers (5-2-1) have ripped off four straight victories heading into Thursday night’s visit from Carolina (6-2), relying heavily on James Conner — Bell’s replacement — to surge into the lead in the AFC North.Conner topped 100 yards rushing for a fourth straight week during a 23-16 victory over Baltimore on Sunday, and caught his first career touchdown pass when he took a short flip from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and bulled past Baltimore safety Eric Weddle at the pylon.“He’s showing that no challenge is too big for him, against the No. 1 defense or whoever it might be,” Steelers left tackle Alejandro Villanueva said of Conner. “You know when you’re so close to him, and he lowers his shoulder, and you see him get a couple yards, it’s extremely motivating.”Conner is second in the league in all-purpose yards and touches behind Los Angeles Rams standout Todd Gurley and tied for fourth in total touchdowns. The second-year back hardly seems bothered by the heavy workload, saying he’s built for it. So does his coach.“I agree with James,” Mike Tomlin said Monday when asked about Conner’s personal assessment.Tomlin smiled as he answered, mirroring the considerably lighter mood around his team these days. The problems that plagued the Steelers during September have vanished, though Tomlin is reticent to point to any one area where his team has improved.“I’m not trying to look for specific areas, I just try to challenge these guys to get better every day,” Tomlin said. “That’s what we’re focused on. I think that if we do that daily that will give us a chance to produce consistent performances that are on the rise. Not only in the second quarter (of the season) but as we continue through this journey.”It’s a pattern that’s become well established during Tomlin’s 12 years on the job. The Steelers have been traditionally slow starters under his watch Womens JuJu Smith-Schuster Jersey , then get it together as the days grow shorter.Pittsburgh hasn’t allowed more than 21 points during its four-game run and the secondary that was torched regularly in the opening month has settled in. Coty Sensabaugh has taken over for Artie Burns at the cornerback spot opposite Joe Haden and rookie safety Terrell Edmunds has filled in capably while veteran Morgan Burnett heals from a series of injuries that have slowed him since training camp. The Steelers aren’t exactly overwhelming opponents but considering the firepower on offense, overwhelming teams isn’t required. Pittsburgh gave up at least 327 yards in each of its first four games. The Steelers haven’t surrendered more than 324 yards over their last four.“Our defense is working in the right direction,” safety Sean Davis said. “We held the Ravens to 16 points … and I feel like we’re putting together winning performances. As long as the defense continues to do that, and with our offense playing the way they’re playing, we’re just going to continue riding the roller coaster. Our trajectory is high.”Considerably higher than it appeared while getting repeatedly torched during the opening month. Yet the job is still only halfway done. The schedule remains daunting. If Bell — whenever he shows up — can return to at least some semblance of the form that made him an All-Pro last season, Pittsburgh could be a tough out. If he can’t, they like their chances anyway.“It’s still going to be a long ride,” linebacker Bud Dupree said. “It was great that we got the win to get on top of the division again. We’ve got another game against the Bengals. We just need to be sure to dominate everywhere.” NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Desperately needing a win, Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin went for the jugular with a fake punt call late in the fourth quarter against the Saints.Upback Roosevelt Nix came up just short, and so did the Steelers in an excruciating, infuriating 31-28 loss Sunday that may strangle their playoff hopes.“I just wanted to be aggressive,” Tomlin said, adding that he had confidence in the play call and figured there was enough time left for his offense to get the ball back with time to score if it failed. He was partly right. The failed fake allowed New Orleans to take over at the Pittsburgh 46 with 4:01 left. Soon after, the second of two critical fourth-down pass interference calls on cornerback Joe Haden set up the Saints for the winning touchdown, a 2-yard pass from Drew Brees to Michael Thomas with 1:25 left.“We had clear opportunities to win the game and we didn’t seize those moments. That is what good teams do,” defensive lineman Cameron Heyward said. “I think we are good team Womens T. J. Watt Jersey , but we have to make those critical adjustments.”To claim the AFC East, Pittsburgh (8-6-1) needs to beat Cincinnati next Sunday and have Baltimore (9-6) lose at home to Cleveland. Failing that, the Steelers would need the unlikely scenario of an Indianapolis-Tennessee tie to earn a wild card.“You can be as skillful as you want on both sides of the ball and special teams, but there is still a small element of luck involved in football,” Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said. “It’s a play here, a play there.”The Steelers have come up a play short too often down the stretch, losing four of their last five by a total of 16 points.Even after the go-ahead touchdown, they were driving into field goal range when receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster fumbled at the New Orleans 34. That play ended their hope to stay atop the AFC East even though Roethlisberger threw for 380 yards and three touchdowns, Antonio Brown had 14 catches for 185 yards and two scores, and Smith-Schuster added 11 receptions for 115 yards.“It’s tough to go out like that,” Smith-Schuster said. “I got tackled, I fumbled, game over. I was just trying to get down. They made a good play.”The Steelers were much less sure about the penalties on Haden. He was flagged for interference in the end zone in the first quarter after a fourth-down heave from Brees to running back Alvin Kamara sailed over both of their heads, leading to Mark Ingram’s 1-yard touchdown run.“I don’t know what they saw,” Haden said. “I just tried to jump up and go get the ball.”The second flag came when he defended Saints receiver Michael Thomas aggressively on a fourth-and-2 pass that hit the ground, prolonging the winning drive.“It’s an offensive game JuJu Smith-Schuster Jersey White ,” Haden said. “You can’t touch these guys. It’s tough being a defensive back. It’s unfortunate. I’m very frustrated. This means a lot to me. I come out here, bust my tail and try to play good defense.”The Steelers fought back from deficits in both halves. Trailing 14-6, they converted four third downs on a 15-play, 97-yard drive that ended with a 3-yard scoring toss to uncovered running back Jaylen Samuels and a 2-point conversion to tie the score 40 seconds before halftime. After they fell behind 24-14 in the third quarter, Roethlisberger led back-to-back touchdown drives of 75 and 66 yards to put the Steelers ahead 28-24.But their last three possessions ended in a fumble by Stevan Ridley, the failed fake punt and Schuster’s fumble.“I didn’t even know it was coming,” Roethlisberger said of the fake punt, on which Nix took the snap, stepped to his right and tried to run through the middle. “I turned around just in time to see it. but I don’t really know what was going on.”The Steelers, who beat New England at home last week, almost captured a second big win in a row against the Saints (13-2), who clinched home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. Now Pittsburgh is looking up at the Ravens in the AFC East for the first time since October.“All we have is a chance,” Heyward said. “We just have to go play Cincinnati this week and get a win. You never know what can happen.”

The Oakland Raiders appear set to play in San Francisco in their final season in the Bay Area. The Raiders Bo Jackson Jersey White , who don’t have a lease in Oakland for 2019 but won’t have their new stadium ready in Las Vegas until 2020, are reportedly going to play in the San Francisco Giants’ stadium this year. Raj Mathai of NBC Bay Area reports that the Raiders have reached a deal with the Giants to use Oracle Park, formerly known as AT&T Park, in 2019.The league would have to approve such a deal, and presumably any arrangement also has the blessing of the 49ers. Although the 49ers now play 45 miles away in Santa Clara, they’re still the “San Francisco” 49ers and the NFL likely wouldn’t allow another team to play in San Francisco without the 49ers’ approval. So the Raiders, who for many years have shared a stadium with the Oakland A’s, will now share a stadium with another baseball team for one more year, before saying goodbye to the Bay Area for good. it was not so long ago that Oakland hosted a "farewell" game to one of its beloved teams https://www.raiderslockerroom.com/authentic-derek-carr-jersey , as the Raiders dismantled Denver on Monday Night Football in what was intended to be their final game in..." />Skip to main contentclockmenumore-arrownoyesSilver And Black Pride homepageHorizontal - WhiteSilver And Black Pridean Oakland Raiders communityFollow Silver And Black Pride online:Follow Silver And Black Pride on TwitterFollow Silver And Black Pride on FacebookLog in or sign upLog InSign UpSite searchSearchSearchSilver And Black Pride main menuFanpostsFanshotsRaidersOddsAboutMastheadCommunity GuidelinesStubHubMoreAll 321 blogs on Horizontal - WhiteFanposts Fanshots Raiders StoriesScheduleRosterStatsYahoo Raiders NewsYahoo Raiders Team PageYahoo Raiders ReportYahoo Raiders Depth ChartYahoo Raiders TransactionsYahoo Raiders PhotosOdds About Masthead Community Guidelines StubHub ✕Warriors stay alive to get one final farewell in Oakland New,39commentsPDTit was not so long ago that Oakland hosted a “farewell” game to one of its beloved teams, as the Raiders dismantled Denver on Monday Night Football in what was intended to be their final game in Oakland. The Raiders came back for another year, because they didn’t have anywhere else to play, but that won’t be the case for the Golden State Warriors, as Chase Arena is on schedule to open in San Francisco prior to the beginning of next basketball season in October.Had the Warriors lost Game 5 against the Raptors tonight, they would never have played in Oakland again after being there since the 1962 season. But they held on for a one-point victory, and the Oracle Arena will be rocking for the real farewell game, Game 6 on Thursday night. It will be played right next to the Oakland Coliseum that the Raiders will say their last goodbyes to later this year Derek Carr Jersey White , with the final regular season game against the Jaguars on December 15. I suppose stranger things have happened than a Raiders home playoff game, but let’s not count any chickens here. two of their most storied professional teams in the same year, but have their most irrelevant team, the A’s, approved for a brand new stadium at Howard Terminal. It does not seem possible for a city government to bungle a situation this badly, but Oakland has managed it.Despite their alarming incompetence, there is little doubt that both the Warriors and Raiders will feel the love from their Oakland faithful before they head to more lucrative climes. While the Raiders will move one state over, the Warriors at least will be just a bridge crossing away.

While there’s been word of interest from the Jets Courtland Sutton Jersey White , it does not look like Peyton Manning will be the team’s next General Manager.Thoughts that he might entertain the prospect were tied in part to his relationship with Jets head coach Adam Gase after the two men worked together with the Broncos. While that relationship might not have led to Manning joining the organization, Gase has been able to make use of it in other ways.Gase told Albert Breer of SI.com that Sam Darnold has been asking a lot of questions about Manning as he prepares to play quarterback in Gase’s offense for the first time.“He watches a lot of the old stuff — he’s watched a lot of Peyton’s stuff,” Gase said. “He’s watched almost all of our cut-ups. The good thing is we’ve got a pretty healthy library of examples … He’s watched so much of it he can bring up certain plays from different seasons to where he’ll ask a question — ‘Hey, what made him do this? With Joe Flacco taking over at quarterback, but in the red zone his size will give him a distinct advantage. While the Broncos struggled to put points on the board in 2018, Sutton is definitely one of the weapons that could help Denver move up in scoring in 2019. Points are a premium Joe Flacco Jersey , and it’s good to see that Sutton is ready to be the go-to receiver around the goal line.Actual football games are so far away that it may be hard to get excited about much that is happening. However, it seems that the Broncos could have a solid offseason. No matter where you stand on Flacco as Denver’s QB, you can’t argue that John Elway and company haven’t put weapons around him. Sutton, Phillip Lindsay, Noah Fant, Royce Freeman, DaeSean Hamilton and Tim Patrick. That sounds like a solid young core.MHR Radio is now on iTunes, iHeartRadio, Google Play, Spotify, Stitcher,TuneIn and anywhere else you get your podcasts.
