Los Angeles racked up a franchise playoff-record 273 yards on the ground — also the most ever allowed in the postseason by the Cowboys, who were playing in their NFL-record 63rd postseason game.The long-struggling Rams had won only one postseason game since their last trip to the Super Bowl in February 2002, but 32-year-old coach Sean McVay has added his first playoff victory to his spectacular two-season franchise turnaround.Ezekiel Elliott rushed for a TD and Amari Cooper caught an early TD pass for the Cowboys (11-7), who still haven’t won a playoff game on the road in 26 years. It was the first time in 22 postseason attempts that he’d missed from that close.PFF ranks LA Rams’ receiving corps No. 1 in the NFL There are some really tremendous wide receiver duos throughout the NFL — the type that keep defensive coordinators up at night. But there is perhaps no better trio of wideouts in the NFL than the ones being fielded by the Los Angeles Rams. Earlier this month on GMFB, Peter Schrager echoed that stating he thought the Rams trio of receivers - Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods, and Cooper Kupp - were the best in the league (and potentially all-time). And while the jury is still out on whether or not this trio will go down with the all-time greats, it doesn’t appear he’s wrong about the Rams sitting atop league’s list of most lethal WR pairings. And with one quarter of the season behind us, it appears Pro Football Focus agrees. On Friday they dropped their third receiving corps rankings of the 2018 season. The Rams Todd Gurley II Jersey , as you might suspect, are numero uno: This really should come as no surprise to fans, of any fanbase, as the Rams’ offense has looked nearly unstoppable to start the 2018 season — and all three of these wideouts are on pace to eclipse 1,200 yards this season. Earlier this year, PFF ranked the NFL’s receiving corps at the end of May, and once again prior to the preseason. All three of these articles were written by different PFF staffers, and both of the earlier rankings appeared to include tight ends or running backs as part of their “corps” definition. The only mention of “tight end” in this most recent ranking is that it’s the 49ers best pass-catching option (insert evil laughter).
