The adidas AlphaBOUNCE has been heavy in the graphic game ever since it debuted in the wild spotted look, so this latest new look may not be surprising, but it certainly is nice. The performance runner with crossover lifestyle appeal shows up in a new striped graphic, with what seems like a "USA" themed colorway of navy blue for the textile base and red and white stripes throughout the upper.
In the early life of the Alphabounce Instinct, it has taken on a number of bright and bold color schemes the likes of this Phoenix Suns-appropriate version you see here. Hi-Res Orange makes up for the majority of this Alphabounce’s upper while Hi-Red Blue – or purple – finds its way onto the sneaker’s midfoot shank on both its lateral and medial side. A quick hit of softer orange adorns this sneaker’s tongue unit for contrast while a black Continental rubber outsole provides the Instinct with incredible durability.

The German sportswear behemoth, however, has been less vocal about the Ultra Boost‘s 5th Anniversary. Yet, recent news of the Ultra Boost 1.0 White, and now, the Ultra Boost 4.0 "Heather Grey," restocking suggest The Three Stripes is ready to give its modern-day bread-and-butter the celebration it deserves.
Last seen in late 2018, the "Heather Grey" Ultra Boost 4.0 keeps everything intact. Profile cages and heel structures maintain their slightly lighter arrangement, while the rest of the upper keeps its tonal, thick Primeknit construction. Sole units combine pristine white Boost cushioning with a tried-and-tested Continental rubber outsole. While near-visually-identical to the original Ultra Boost, this "4.0" edition marked great strides in improvement for the silhouette, many which are still being referenced among the latest iterations.
A new colorway of the Nike LeBron Soldier 13 has surfaced. This time around the Nike LeBron Soldier 13 opts for a classic Black and Red aesthetic. Nicknamed the Nike LeBron Soldier 13 Bred, this LeBron sneaker comes dressed in a Black upper paired up with a matching tonal “LJ” crown logo on the midfoot. Creating contrast are the Red hits on the lining and buckles on the straps and outsole, and the White detailing on the Swoosh and midsole.
The Nike LeBron 16 Low Olympic dropped earlier this week, but being that today is 4th if July, it seems a but fitting that we get another look at this readily available colorway of the model. The Nike LeBron 16 Low Olympic sports a clean combination of White, Metallic Gold, and Midnight Navy, the low-top silhouette boasts a clean knitted upper with navy suede overlays on the branded tongue and heel, followed by more navy utilized for its lining and midsole. The Olympic theme is evident with metallic gold applied on the branded areas, while hidden USA flags are found on the inner back heel tabs.
Taking the festive route, the Sneaker Politics x adidas Consortium Gazelle Primeknit is inspired by none other that Mardi Gras. This is done by adding nice color accents to the Primeknit constructed upper. The colors and what the represent are as follows: Purple (for justice), Green (for faith), and Gold (for power) are all features on the woven cream-based upper. Adding a touch of lux is the premium suede noted throughout. Also worth mentioning is the Primeknit's new fleece-backed construction which matches up very nicely with the gum sole unit.

And in what is effectively a layered display of appropriation, the NMD R1 is arriving with some ornate Souvenir Jacket inspired designs. Prominent after World War II, the Sukajan — as the Japanese dubbed it — is as much a trend now as it was prior with many industry names crafting their own takes of the garment for some time now.
The Three Stripes, who’ve included shoes alongside apparel, is stamping dragon patches along the heel of the aforementioned silhouette. Scales and further details sprawl in red and blue, the former of which seeing use elsewhere as it radially etches atop the ankle.
